How do your sessions work?

How do your sessions work?

We begin with a free 45‑minute consultation to explore your goals and see if we’re a good fit. If we decide to work together, you’ll choose a pricing tier that feels comfortable. Once we begin, you’ll receive:

  • Weekly 60–90‑minute sessions (in‑person or online)

  • A mid‑week 30‑minute check‑in

  • Messaging support for quick questions and grounding prompts

  • Personalised tools, exercises and neuroscience‑based practices

  • Secure access to a client portal for session notes and resources

Sessions are fluid... some may involve talking through patterns and beliefs, others might focus on somatic grounding techniques, mindfulness or practical strategies. The pace and depth are always tailored to you.

How long will I need therapy or coaching?

How do your sessions work?

The length of our work varies. Some clients come for a few months of focused support, while others choose longer‑term work for deeper transformation. We’ll regularly reassess your goals and progress together and adjust as needed. There is no pressure to commit to a specific number of sessions

Are sessions online or in person?

Are sessions online or in person?

Most sessions are conducted via Zoom or WhatsApp Video for flexibility and accessibility. Limited in‑person appointments are available in London. We can discuss your preference during the consultation.

Do you offer a sliding scale or financial assistance?

Do you offer a sliding scale or financial assistance?

Yes. After your free consultation, you’ll choose from three pricing tiers based on your financial comfort. Each tier offers the same level of depth and support; the tiers simply acknowledge different capacities to pay. For those facing financial hardship... such as students or young adults... the Pay It Forward Fund enables access to sessions with dignity and care. Contributions from clients who are able to pay a bit more help keep the fund sustainable. Full details are discussed privately during your consultation.

What is the Pay It Forward programme?

What is the Pay It Forward programme?

The Pay It Forward programme is an initiative to make therapy more accessible. Clients who can afford it contribute a little extra to the fund, which is then used to subsidise or fully cover sessions for those in financial hardship. It’s my way of ensuring that quality mental‑health support is available regardless of income or circumstance.

Is my information confidential?

Is my information confidential?

Absolutely. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of this work. All personal information shared in sessions is protected under professional codes of ethics and legal guidelines. Testimonials on the website are anonymised... names and identifying details have been omitted or changed, and no client information is ever shared without explicit consent.

Do you work with children or couples?

Do you work with children or couples?

My practice focuses on adults. If you’re seeking support for children or couples, I’m happy to recommend trusted colleagues and resources tailored to those needs.

How should I prepare for the first session?

How should I prepare for the first session?

There’s no need for special preparation... come as you are. You might find it helpful to reflect on what you hope to gain from our work or to jot down key questions or experiences you’d like to explore. Most importantly, bring an open mind and a willingness to be curious about your own experience.

How do I know if I’m ready to begin?

How do I know if I’m ready to begin?

Many clients feel nervous before starting therapy or coaching... that’s normal. If you’re noticing recurring patterns that you want to change, are open to exploring your thoughts and emotions, and feel ready to commit time and energy to your growth, you’re likely ready to begin. The free consultation is a safe space to ask questions and decide whether this is the right fit for you.

Have a question that isn’t covered here? Feel free to contact me. I’m happy to help.
