STAGE 1

Your current Rate of Appreciation at Work

We track The Appreciation at Work Systems effectiveness by using the Appreciation at Work Rating Scale™ (AAWRS) which is an effective pre- /post- training assessment tool.

This assessment allows us to view the results, identify the gains, and coach towards greater success.

STAGE 2

Discover each person's language of appreciation

Each person has preferences for how their colleagues can communicate appreciation to them in a meaningful way.

Each person will take the Motivating by Appreciation (MBA) Inventory to discover their language of appreciation and the specific actions that uniquely encourage them.

ROADMAP

STAGE 1

Appreciation at Work Rating Scale (AAWRS)

This assessment helps your organisation track the Appreciation at Work System training effectiveness. It is based on the Appreciation at Work Rating Scale™ (AAWRS) which is an effective pre- /post- training assessment tool. The assessment allows us to view the results, identify the gains, and coach towards greater success.

  • Provides us the ability to document objectively that the training process is positively contributing towards building a culture of appreciation
  • More candid and honest feedback obtained from anonymous survey and being an outsourced process
  • Easy ordering and survey implementation keeps internal administrative and management resources focused on results, not on labour to compile the data

STAGE 2

THE MBA INVENTORY

The Motivating By Appreciation (MBA) Inventory is an assessment tool developed by psychologist Dr. Paul White and Dr. Gary Chapman, that accompanies the Appreciation at Work System.

The MBA Inventory assists supervisors, managers, and coworkers to be able to communicate appreciation to their colleagues in ways that are meaningful and which “hit the mark” for the person you want to encourage.

In many settings (non-profit organizations, educational institutions, churches and ministries, medical/dental practices) managers want to show their appreciation for the work being done by their colleagues, but monetary reward is either not appropriate or not feasible.

The inventory takes 15-20 minutes to complete online and an individual report is generated immediately which identifies the respondent’s primary language of appreciation, their secondary language of appreciation, and the language of appreciation which is least important to them.

Additionally, a unique action list is developed for each individual’s profile and personal preferences.

STAGE 2 CONTINUED

GROUP PROFILE

To help you and your team members to better understand how to encourage and show appreciation to one another, we create a group profile of your team members’ primary, secondary, and least valued appreciation languages..
